The Ibis merges as a part of wilderness, being about 20 minutes away from Wilpattu, the largest National Park in Sri Lanka, the rustic and nature built lodging plays along well in camouflaging the self to the greener background. Only having two bedrooms both air conditioned and with adjoin bathrooms, the outlook is made a little luxurious by the modern touches. The birdlife at the lake nearby can be observed from the veranda of the bungalow. Morning and evening views from the lake is heart stopping and an evening campfire is an ideal way to end your day. Ibis does guided safaris both evening and morning to the adjoining Wilpattu National park with the naturalist available at the hotel. If your idea is a traditional village walk, or a hands-on cooking experience, you can also get that arranged at the hotel. The delectable cuisine is Sri Lankan with the comprising of fresh produce making their apt entrance. Other than the main building’s two rooms there is also a tree house for different kind of staying in experience or just sway around in the hammock with trees shading your way.
