The Ibis merges as a part of wilderness, being about 20 minutes away from Wilpattu, the largest National Park in Sri Lanka, the rustic and nature built lodging plays along well in camouflaging the self to the greener background. Ibis does guided safaris both evening and morning to the adjoining Wilpattu National park with the naturalist available at the hotel. If your idea is a traditional village walk, or a hands-on cooking experience, you can also get that arranged at the hotel.
