Madulkele Tea and Eco Lodge is located in Kandy and is overlooking the valley and is a specialized accommodation, apart from being a part of Victorian plantation bungalow the rest of the accommodation is in tented lodges. Madulkele is aptly known for their finer selection of bird watching. These sturdy canvas tents are imported from South Africa. Interiors are designed with timber flooring and consist of a sleeping area which opens out to a private balcony and an en-suite bathroom with h/w shower, wash basin, and w/c. The lodges are furnished with comfortable twin or double beds and writing desk. Up to three guests can be accommodated in each tented lodge. In total the accommodation counts up to 19 tented lodges. The guests are welcome to pick their own vegetables and cook them at the hotel which is quite a new experience. The tea plantation and the cloud mist gives an ideal stopover for honeymooners or someone who watches out for a really silent and a magical holiday with unique accommodation.
